Alpha Data, the leading system integrator with over 30 years track record, has announced that it will be locally distributing the Magnolia Screen – the most advanced and highest-quality resolution LED display currently available in the market – from LED display panel designer and manufacturer SiliconCore Technology. The screen is currently on display at the Khalidiya Palace Rotana Rayhaan in Abu Dhabi until today (Tuesday, April 15, 2014).
Using the revolutionary Common Cathode technology, the Magnolia Screen outputs a 1.50mm pixel pitch that enables 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution at a 130” diagonal size to deliver a sharp and seamless viewing experience even at close proximity.
Alpha Data notes that the screen is best suited for a range of settings such as corporate and conference rooms, high-end signage in retail environments, VIP areas in sports facilities, and command and control centres. The Common Cathode technology used for the Magnolia Screen is modular, so the display can be configured for any size or shape without any noticeable gaps, seams or bezels appearing.
“With the Magnolia Screen, viewers can enjoy the resolution of a video wall but with far greater image quality at a short distance. This screen will help redefine the way business presentations are conducted in the UAE and across the region. Alpha Data feels privileged to be an authorized distributor and systems integrator of this advanced LED technology and is already conceptualizing a number of unique uses for the screen,” said Ziad Sultan, ELV Division Manager, Alpha Data.
With IT spending across the Middle East and Africa expected to grow by 10 per cent annually through 2017, Alpha Data aims to gain a competitive edge by employing advanced technologies and equipment such as the Magnolia Screen into their integration works. Screen developer SiliconCore’s products are used by industry leaders such as Burberry, JP Morgan, Bank of America, and ESPN.
Strategic partnerships with marquee industry players such as SiliconCore Technology, Microsoft, Cisco, HP and Avaya have been instrumental to Alpha Data’s strong growth over the past five years. In response to a rapidly evolving IT market, the company has been focusing on complete solutions and services that cater to growing demand for nonconventional infrastructure models involving mobility, cloud and security services. Alpha Data’s diverse customer base includes the government and energy, hospitality and education businesses.
