The plant growth induction lamp is a new product developed by RIANT lighting. Usually, it is made half blue and half red, which looks beautiful and works well. One of the most important parts of plant growth induction lamp is the phosphor powder which can give off proper spectrum good for plant growing. Currently, two kinds of phosphor powder for plant growth induction lamp are available. The first one can provide high and narrow spectrum, and the second one can provide spectrum that is lower but wider. Customers can decide which phosphor powder to use or mix them together to get a balanced performance.

RIANT lighting now provides plant growth induction lamp of circular, rectangular(40W-400W) and global type(40W-200W), among which circular and rectangular type are half blue and half red, while global type is single color of blue or red. The reaction of plants varies according to different spectrum. Generally speaking, red spectrum will make plants grow tall and slender; blue spectrum will slow down the plant growth and make it short but strong. The induction grow lights can control the growth speed and shape through a proper balance rate of red and blue spectrum. For plants, blue spectrum (400-500nm) and red spectrum (600-700nm) is the basic for plant growth, and infrared (700-750nm) will help the flowering extension and stem growth.
