Nicholasville, KY — October 19, 2009 — Telecommunications company Multi-Link, Inc., has appointed Nancy Shemwell as President and CEO, effective immediately. In her position, she will oversee the creation and implementation of a new strategy, “which will allow the company to build on their substantial customer base, create innovative products, and capitalize on the Multi-Link brand,†says Andrew Byrd, Chairman of the Board at Multi-Link. Most recently, Shemwell was Executive Vice President of Symmetricom, Inc., a leading network synchronization and timing equipment manufacturer, where she was responsible for sales, technical support, customer service, sales operations, customer satisfaction and field equipment installation and support. Previous experience includes senior executive positions as Vice President and Division President with Nortel Networks, as well as President, CEO of Jovial Networks. Shemwell currently sits on the Board of Call Genie Inc. (GNE TSX). A graduate of Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business, as well as the American Technological University Shemwell resides in Dallas.Â
