Aug 27, 2010 – MEETING OF ARTIST (MOA) a Hottest New Artist event was the 2nd phase of a nationwide contest that brought out some of the most hottest and upcoming artists on the planet.  Phase I included reviews of artist’s songs and airing them on WHAP 1340 AM.  Listeners, music insiders and tastemakers polled the front-runners to create the list of 40 semi-finalists.

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VIRGINIA - August 15, 2010 Hilton Garden Inn -

The location of the MOA where each Semi-finalist contestant performed live and was given a chance to show their skills.  As a number of artist performed that represented every genre of music imaginable, the last act of the night Her Rhaw’Ness, captured the audience’s attention with the performance of her smash song “Give It To Me”.  Many onlookers clearly took her performance as a knockout blow.  President and founder Paul Spencer felt excited about the level of competition during the event.  “It was pretty clear to the audience that all of the contestants hit hard and delivered solid talent, we’ll definitely have stars from this group.”

The top artist wins a cash prize of $250.00, a spot on Hottest New Artist (HNA) compilation CD and offered a solo album release.

The HNA contest included entries of 100s of Hip-Hop, Jazz, RB, Rock, Pop, Country, Metal, Alternative, Inspirational and others songs, and 28 finalist were chosen for spot on the Urban, Pop/Country, and Contemporary Christian CD upcoming CDs to be release.
