It is well know that physical activity is the main factor for losing weight fast, so H.J. had a theory that she used during her weight loss journey. She realized that a gram of muscle burns 3 times more calories than a gram of fat so she started to lift weights 5 times a week. Her workouts were for all the parts of her body and lasted 55 minutes and in the end of every workout she used to do 10 minutes of extreme cardio.
Exercising like this for 3 months helped Heather build 6 pounds of pure muscles and this way her body used to burn 2700 calories per day instead of the 1500 calories, the calories a female body usually burns.
So, with this mindset, she sent an email to her mailing list and told them that she created a special weight lifting exercise program and asked them to follow it daily for at least 5 days per week. Even though her mailing list is over 20000 people, only 7 women engaged in the exercise challenge.
The exercise program HJ created for them was really great, not extremely difficult to follow, but very rewarding because all the women who followed it were very happy at the end of each workout. They all wanted to lose 20 pounds really fast for a future event.
The only purpose of the workout created by HJ was to help the women who followed it to build enough muscles to increase the burnings, but also to burn calories during the workout. All the women who followed the exercise program, wanted to lose at least 20 pounds in a month of doing the workout.
