This year’s Keys to Success booklet focuses on the Takeovers and Mergers topic within the AQA A Level Business Studies course. To help students reach their peak for exam season Kaplan Business School’s tutor team have created the second in a series of booklets for the AQA Business Studies A Level, which this year specifically tackles the Takeovers and Mergers element of the course. The booklet can be downloaded for free from the Kaplan Business School website, where you can also find top tips from KBS tutor Christian Papworth. The Keys to Success series is now in its second year and follows last year’s incredibly successful booklet on Corporate Social Responsibility. This topic still forms part of the syllabus for the AQA A level and is also available for download from the Kaplan Business School website. School based sessions and other activities Between April and May schools can even get a free two hour revision session delivered by a KBS tutor in their school, which are now fully booked for a second successive year. Kaplan Business School tutors will engage with students in an interactive session designed to reinforce exam skills and the importance of using case study resources effectively. Taking students through a number of questions at a pace that suits each group, the KBS tutors will ensure that students are receiving maximum benefit from the case study resources provided. The KBS Schools and Colleges Liaison Team also offer school based workshops related to accountancy, business, finance and law all year round, and taster days at the London campus where students can sample a subject for the day. This year’s Taster Days are in July and schools and individual students are invited to KBS online form.
