ARISE participates in 2012 Combined Federal Funding

Jupiter, FL - The U.S. Office of Personnel Management has confirmed ARISE’s participation in the 2012 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) as a member of Child Aid USA. The ARISE Foundation CFC code is 12303.

The CFC is the world's largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign. More than 300 CFC campaigns internationally and throughout the country raise millions of dollars each year. Pledges made by federal civilian, postal, and military donors during the campaign season (September 1–December 15) support qualified nonprofit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world.

The mission of the CFC is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.

Federal employees can now choose to support ARISE Foundation through the CFC. ARISE is a nonprofit organization providing life skills and staff training to troubled, angry often hard to reach at-risk youth. ARISE curricula and staff training enables instructors and youth to accomplish meaningful tasks and communicate comfortably with each other. Lessons are streamlined so that barriers are removed, while adding thoughtful, innovative elements that draw both youth and instructors into the subject matter.

Traumatized teens locked behind bars need ARISE’s help. To succeed these adolecents must learn life and social skills to make it in the world we live in today. The ARISE mission, one which we have been fulfilling for over 25 years with legendary success, is building the social and emotional fitness in troubled youth, by providing valuable life skills that were missing at home, skills written specifically  for these young women and men. ARISE group sessions empowers and enriches youth, never condones or condemns.

Youth behind bars are at one of life’s major intersections. These children are at risk of spending their lives bouncing in and out of adult prisons. ARISE works to make sure these youth achieve their highest potential as law-abiding citizens; we succeed when juvenile offenders never again get in trouble with the law. We promise to carry on with the support of active, concerned citizens like you. Please help ARISE Foundation transform troubled youth.
