Sunshine Coast Destination Ltd’s campaign was definitely
one to sink your teeth in to!

Sunshine Coast Destination Ltd teamed up with celebrity chef and Noosa
icon, Matt Golinski to create a dish using some of the Sunshine Coast’s fresh,
local produce, the prize? The ultimate three day foodie experience to the
Sunshine Coast during one of the regions biggest food festivals, the Noosa
International Food and Wine Festival. The competition recipe used the
famous Mooloolaba Prawns, Hinterland Limes and Noosa Red Tomatoes,
creating a zesty, summery dish just waiting to be named.
The winning name ‘Sunshine on a Plate’ was conjured by one lucky lady from
Western Australia. She and a friend will be treated to a three day foodie
extravaganza including luxury accommodation in the heart of Mooloolaba,
Limousine transfers and VIP tickets to The Noosa International Food and
Wine Festival, rub shoulders and opportunity to meet with Matt Golinski. The
winner will also experience a private tour of the Kawana Farmer’s Markets
including a fresh, local lunch, a tasty dinner at Fish on Parkyn, Mooloolaba to
savour some of our freshest local seafood and a 3 hour private tour of our
beautiful Hinterland including Flame Hill Winery and Maleny Cheese.

campaign was launched to whet appetites and definitely got the taste buds
going with an overwhelming response over the 4 running weeks and
