MIAMI – Marc Freeman, CPA in the Tax and Accounting Department of nationally recognized public accounting firm Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLC (MBAF), has been promoted to director. Based in MBAF's Miami office, Freeman previously served as a senior manager in the firm's Tax and Accounting Department. The announcement was made by Tony Argiz, Chairman and CEO of MBAF.
As a director, his responsibilities include various aspects of tax services for clients providing extensive services ranging from tax preparation, accounting, tax planning, tax research and tax consulting to a wide range of companies in various industries. These industries include professional services firms, real estate and wholesale/distribution. Freeman has 15 years of tax experience.
"Since joining us in 2006 with the merger of Freeman, Buczyner & Gero, Marc has further developed his experience in tax services in various industries along with his impeccable client service at MBAF," said Miguel G. Farra, CPA, JD, principal-in-charge of the Tax and Accounting Department at MBAF. "Marc is a valuable asset to the firm and his contributions are deserving of this recognition."
Freeman's areas of specialization include tax aspects of partnerships, corporations and individuals including domestic tax planning. Prior to joining MBAF, Freeman was a manager with Freeman, Buczyner & Gero.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Freeman attended Florida International University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
