As Mexican Capital Markets Become More Active, Edgar Perez Brings The Speed Traders Workshop 2012 Me

Mexican capital markets have become increasingly active and are expected to grow in the coming year, attracting both foreign and local capital. The value of transactions on the country's stock exchange, Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, or BMV) is expected to rise, and the range of products offered to investors will increase. These developments will be thanks to a greater understanding of the tax framework applicable to Mexico's capital markets, and tax authorities' response to innovation in the capital markets, says Carlos Martinez, partner with Creel García-Cuéllar Aiza y Enríquez in Mexico City.

Perez has an undergraduate degree from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería, Lima, Peru (1994), a Master of Administration from Universidad ESAN, Lima, Peru (1997) and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School, New York, with a dual major in Finance and Management (2002). He belongs to the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society.
