Kansas City, Mo. – DSI, a global leader in enterprise mobility, announced today that Aegion Corporation has selected the DSI Mobile Enterprise Platform to optimize its field sales, field services, and PO approval processes.

DSI provides validated integrations to leading ERP systems, including Aegion’s back-end system, Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. The mobile platform features an integrated development environment that accelerates the development and deployment of mobile applications and includes pre-built applications for faster time-to-value. Using these capabilities, Aegion will expand its use of DSI to equip field sales and service technicians to manage sales and work orders anywhere.

The implementation will also include the industry-specific Engineering and Construction app, which features mobile job, time, and materials and equipment management functions. The apps will empower Aegion technicians to reduce maintenance and sales order request time with real-time access to data in the field.
