Blizzard skis are known to be some of the best in the world, Hamilton Sports is proud to announce that Blizzard skis will be a premier ski in their Aspen ski rental fleet as well as available for sale.

Hamilton Sports, Aspen, Colorado’s premier ski shop is proud to announce Blizzard skis will be available for demo in their Aspen ski rental fleet. Anyone who has ever skied a pair of Blizzard skis knows how well they perform, and we will be carrying a full line of their skis so we have the model for your ability and the current conditions.

The Bonafide swept the all mountain division with awards from Ski, Skiing and Free skier! While some all mountain skis tend to favor skiing powder, charging through crud or carving groomers, the Bonafide excels at all three. This is a great ski to rent when you want to sample all the terrain available at Snowmass for a day!The Twin Tip Peacemaker is the most powerful ski in the Blizzard Free Mountain series and can handle challenging terrain and still be nimble enough to pull a front flip of Waterfall cliff on Aspen. Utilizing Flip Core technology this is a stick that is easy to ski yet holds its own when things get tough! TheBlizzard Brahma is a Bushwacker the hit the weights and beefed up, or a Bonafide that hit the Pilates and slimmed down. Designed to ski a variety conditions but narrower underfoot making it a nice turning ski with stability and edging performance. This would be a good ski to rent if it snowed less than 4 inches but you still want to ride the whole mountain. The Samba is designed for lighter female riders who want the performance of an expert ski. Though light and easy to turn the ski is stable at high speeds thanks to its roots in Giant Slalom but rockered to handle variable conditions. With a wood core and vertical sidewall it has the performance of more classic skis with the easy ride of the rocker.Taking awards from Ski Magazine, Skiing and Ski; the Black Pearl pulls off a difficult task of performing on the mountain and in the backcountry. It does this with a narrower waist to be quick and Flip Core 3D Rocker to handle deep snow and crud. Bamboo core construction to be light on the uphill this is a great ski for the side country of Aspen and Aspen Highlands where you can get out and earn some fresh turns days after it snow.

The Blizzard Free ride Team has deep roots in Aspen, in fact “TecBlizz Team Manager” Frank Shine not only lives here but he used to work at this shop. Pat Sewell is on the Free ride team and he recommends when you come here on vacation and you need ski rentals in Aspen you should choose the Bonafide for deep days and the Brahma on sunny days when you will be bashing the bumps. The entire team is packed with comp winning rippers. When asked recently where and with who he would like to ski the most Team Rider Aidan Sheahan said “Aspen Mountain with Torin Wallace. Flying around in the snow and playing…just skiing real fast and sending. Torin is fun to ski with because he’s so agile and fast, which I try to be myself. Aspen Mountain is so rolly and fun on a pow day, my favorite place to be.” Aidan’s preferred set up includes the Blizzard Peacemaker 186 and the Tecnica Cochise 110boot, they give him all the power he needs to complete some of the most technical tricks being done on the mountain today.

In fact every employee at the shop has at least two pairs of Blizzard skis in their quiver, and if you can’t count on the locals opinion you can’t count on anybody. So when you are ready to make that dream vacation happen and you need your Aspen ski rentalchoose our ski shop, Hamilton Sports, reserve online and receive a 15% discount at Hamilton Sports
