Mogi Caffè llc is a young company, created some years ago from the energy and enthusiasm of its founder, Monica, who after a scholastic career in Agriculture decides to invest, together with her brother Gianluigi, on an ambitious project, which over the years give them back real satisfactions.
The two brothers indeed transformed their passion into a job and since 2007- year in which they founded Mogi Caffè- they have been promoting quality coffee in Italy and even abroad. The company chooses the best coffee beans and manufactures them directly in Italy, in the “Lorusso and Cutugno” penitentiary of Turin; among the products of the company there is also a blend called Mogi Caffè Utile, that is realized with coffee beans from two SlowFood presidium of Dominican Republic (Huehuetenago and Sierra Cafetalera), from Copan (Honduras) and Minas Gerais (Brazil).
The coffee selected by Mogi is then wood toasted and manufactured by prisoners who are serving a disciplinary action; Mogi Caffè has indeed developed some cooperation projects with Pausa Caffè, cooperative from Turin which deals with prisoners’ rehabilitation in society and with ERGOlab, cooperative which reintroduces individuals with disabilities in the business world, who create café uniforms for Mogi Caffè and also biological cotton bags for special packaging.
Beyond making sure that the production phases are made by trained personnel, Mogi Caffè Srl invests a lot also on the company communication and on the diffusion of Coffee cult even out of national borders; right for this reason they have inaugurated some collaboration even with an art and design gallery and events with other cultural associations.
In order to give an additional information channel for espresso lovers, Mogi has recently activated a Facebook Page, in which are posted all the news about the company initiatives and about the events organized in cooperation with the partners; moreover almost daily Mogi Caffè posts some photos of events or some funny quotations taken by famous films, by poets, philosophers or celebrities, which contribute in affirming coffee international importance and meaning.
