This is the 14th year ALG has presented the Residual Value awards to industry leading cars, trucks, and SUVs. President of ALG Larry Dominique says the award values the car based on durability, account quality, brand desirability. Vehicles are also chosen based on their ability to retain their MSRP over a three year period. ALG provides automotive insights and industry standards for values of vehicles. The 2013 Hyundai Elantra took home the award for the compact car segment, one of the most competitive classes. The 2013 Azera claimed the award for the full size car segment, and the all-new Santa Fe Sport rounded out Hyundai picks in the midsize utility vehicle class.
Hyundai had the second highest number of residual value award winners. They also ranked second in overall Mainstream Brand Rankings just below Honda. ALG Preseident Dominique said their continual drive for success as a dominating factor.
