Toyota Corolla Furia Concept Showcases New Designs Coming to Cumberland Toyota Soon

Cumberland Toyota expects to see new and exciting designs like those displayed by the Furia concept in future Toyota vehicles

Dealerships across the nation like Cumberland Toyota can expect to see new and exciting designs for Toyota vehicles in the near future. The 2013 Toyota Avalon and the 2013 Toyota RAV4 are both good examples of the new feel and look that Toyota wishes to convey across their lineup of great vehicles. Another great example of the newer, more aggressive and futuristic look that Toyota is going for is the Toyota Corolla Furia concept vehicle just revealed at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. This concept car shows some of the design language that the company hopes to utilize in its next generation of its second best selling nameplate.

Last year, nearly 300,000 Toyota Corollas were sold, accounting for a 13.5 percent share of the compact car market. This continues on ten generation of success for the small car from Toyota making it a very important vehicle for dealerships like Cumberland Toyota in Cookeville, TN. In order to meet the growing demand for compact, fuel efficient vehicles with the expressive styling sought out by young buyers, Toyota has put together the Furia concept.

The Furia has a “ferocious” look and a “fury” of energetic design elements that represent the near future for the Toyota Corolla. This Corolla design breaks out of all preconceived notions about what a compact car should be and how it should look. With a very high wheelbase-to-overall length ratio that is emphasized by short overhangs, the concept shows its surefootedness and confidence; even from a distance. A short, sculpted hood flows into a dynamically swept windshield and sloped roofline that eventually blends into the deck lid. Bulged fender flares, 19-inch alloy wheels, exciting colors, and exotic materials are just some of the bold features that make the Furia stand out.

Some of the features that can easily be seen transferring into a real-world, production model really help bring this concept to life. Advanced looking, LED headlights that integrate into the front grille are futuristic looking but also show ideas that could be easily put into production. The taillights around back match the design of the front lighting and utilize modern technology with integrated LED turn signals and a wraparound design. The front fascia is unlike anything else on the road and uses a bold and aggressive 8-sided, blacked out grille with chrome trim.

The Toyota Corolla is one of the best selling vehicles available at Cumberland Toyota and the push to a more futuristic design should only help to make it popular among buyers of all ages.
