Subaru of America recently announced they have reached a donation milestone of $25 million dollars over the past 5 years during their “Share the Love” event. At the end of each year, Subaru of America, participating Subaru dealers, and loyal Subaru customers come together to give back to the community. Singh Auto Group is proud to be an integral part of an organization that has given back so much in the past 5 years.

The fifth-annual “Share the Love” event occurred at the end of 2012. During the event, Subaru donates $250 for every new Subaru that is sold or leased from participating dealerships like Singh Auto Group in Riverside, CA. The customer who buys or leases the Subaru then picks one of five charities that they would like their donation to go to.

The 2012 “Share the Love” event benefited five charities from humane animal groups, to the military, to persons suffering from Alzheimer’s. The specific charities who benefited from the event are the Alzheimer’s Association, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), Make-A-Wish Foundation, Meals on Wheels Association of America, and finally the USO.

The donations from last year’s “Share the Love Event” are currently being dispersed between the aforementioned charities. In past years, Subaru of America has awarded donations to Big Brothers Big Sisters, American Forests, Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, and the Boys & Girls Club.
