New Subaru Vehicles To Be Equipped With New Infotainment System Called “StarLink”

Subaru’s new infotainment system, Starlink, is expected to make its debut on the 2014 Subaru Forester.

Every year at the Consumer Electronics Show, otherwise known as CES, the newest and most groundbreaking electronic technology is revealed to the general public. Hassett of Wantagh is especially excited for this year’s CES considering the reveal that Subaru is expected to make – Starlink.

Much like Ford has the MyFord Touch infotainment system, Chevy has the MyLink system, and Cadillac has CUE, new Subaru vehicles will now be equipped with Starlink. Essentially infotainment systems in cars are the connection to the outside world. They give drivers the ability to call any of their phones contacts, listen to personalized playlists, and even navigate around town.

However, Starlink will not be like other infotainment systems in several ways. According to Digital Trends, “Starlink will help push Subaru into the automotive infotainment game by offering concierge-type services like: hotel recommendations from TripAdvisor, restaurant recommendations from Yelp, weather information, and since this Subaru we’re talking about, tips on local parks and surf spots.

Starlink is expected to make its debut on the all new 2014 Subaru Forester; the car that was revealed at the LA Auto Show just over a month ago.

Hassett Automotive is looking forward to seeing this groundbreaking technology in Subaru vehicles. Anyone interested in learning more about Starlink, or any other features in Subaru vehicles, should stop by Hassett Automotive to speak with a sales team member, or call 866-525-9066.
