GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania – The 10th Ruedas ESPN awards ceremony was held last week where the 2013 Nissan Altima was named Car of the Year, according to Star Auto Mall in Greensburg, PA. The winner was announced during the 42nd Annual Miami International Auto Show held at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Ruedas ESPN is the leading automotive radio show in Spanish in the United States. The editorial board for the show generated nominations for 12 categories including Car of the Year, the top prize. Experts then chose the award winners based on design, value, price, performance, fuel economy and appeal to Hispanic shoppers.

The 2013 Nissan Altima offers a fuel economy of 38 mpg on the highway, excellent aerodynamics, a luxurious interior, comfortable ride, and spectacular acceleration. Standard on the 2013 Altima is the Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System and Streaming Audio via Bluetooth. Other available features include NissanConnectSM, Bluetooth phone connectivity, Pandora playback and real-time Google POI. The redesigned 2.5-liter DOHC inline four-cylinder engine provides 182 horsepower. An alternative engine option – a 3.5-liter V6, offers 270 horsepower.
On the inside, the 2013 Altima has a premium interior with new NASA-inspired zero-gravity front seats and standard Advanced Drive-Assist Display that provides information like navigation, text messaging notification and audio data.
